The 16-11 Heat came to Charlotte and took on the 21-7 Cats. The Cats made a game of it this time and did not allow the Heat to get out to a huge lead.

1st quarter
The Heat opened the game on a 6-0 run before the Cats went on a 15-5 run to take a 15-11 lead after Wade picked up his second foul with 1:54 left in the quarter. The Heat came right back and tied the game with 50 seconds left at 15. The Cats finished the quarter up 19-18.

2nd quarter
The Heat opened up the second quarter on a 10-3 to take a 28-22 lead. The Bobcats cut the lead to 28-26 with 1:31 left in the quarter after Lebron and Wade picked up their third fouls. The quarter ended with the Heat leading 32-30.

3rd quarter
The Cats tied the game at 40 with 2:54 left and then the Heat went on a 7-0 run to take a 47-40 lead. The cats then went on an 11-2 run of their own to take a 51-49 into the fourth. During that run the Lebron and Wade picked up their 4th fouls!

4th quarter
The Heat opened the fourth quarter on a 12-4 run to take a 61-55 lead. The Cats cut that lead to 63-62 with 2:36 left. The Heat then went on a 7-0 run to take a 70-62 lead with 44 seconds left. Suddenly the Cats found their range from outside. The Cats started to enact their "lets foul, they might miss, and then shoot a three." This plan worked and the Cats hit 4 straight threes after the Heat hit their free throws. Wit 1.3 seconds left the cats were down by 2 points with the Heat on the free-throw line. Amazingly the Heat player missed the second free-throw! The Cats got the rebound and called timeout. With less than a second left the Cats were trying to inbound the ball to a three point shooter. Due to the HEat defense this did not happen. The Cats inbounded the ball to guy that was too close to the basket. He threw up a shot while trying to get fouled at the same time. It was to no avail. The Hat won 77-74.

Odd stat: The Cats missed 42% of their free throws. Just three makes would have changed the game completely!
